Is what Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage council member Elizabeth Wilkens said in last Sundays Outdoor section of the Star. About adding more ATV trails in Crow Wing "If you want to recreate on wild land, you get yourself a backpack and walk on out there"

Does Elizabeth Wilkens not know that all of the highways and roads she drives with her car are created on once wild land? Oh, wait...it's okay if she uses the wild lands her way but...

It does seem like ATVer are going to have a harder time getting trail openings through more then the snowmobiles because once the snow is gone, the trails are not very noticeable. Plus may be Elizabeth doesn't come out of her house during the winter! :D

I have used ATV, Snowmobile and Single track dirt bike trails over the years and Minnesota has had great trail systems. We all need to fight these tree huggers are they will plant flowers on every trail if they have the way. :(
