DrJ
This is by far the best way I have found to use my turkey breast.Gets rave reviews from all that have tried it. It's a little picky to make but give it a try and you won't be sorry... 1.Cut turkey into finger size strips,Marinade in Frank's hot sauce for 6 hours, drain and place in buttermilk for 2 hours, drain off liquid but don't rinse 2. Mix flour with seasoning of your choice(Lawry's,Cajun, etc) Roll turkey in flour mix,tap off extra flour. 3. Next dip in mixture off Pancake mix and water(should be consistency off thin batter) 4. Next mix 1/2 bread crumbs and 1/2 corn flake crumbs and Sesame seeds. Roll turkey strips in mixture and deep fry.(Use slotted spoon to remove clumps from this mixture) 5.Then serve with Blue Cheese or Ranch Dressing 6. This is a putzy recipe but oh so good.Lay down some paper to work on since it's pretty messy, rinsing your fingers and adding more crumb mixture as you go along. 7. I like to make a head of time and put in the refrigerator. Then they are cold and don't stick together in the fryer. 8. I fish, therefore I lie
Your recipe kinda starts out like my favorite lutefisk recipe. Take 5lbs lutefisk, add onions, peppers, carrots, potatoes, celery, etc. roast at 350 for 45 minutes. remove from heat. Salt and pepper to taste. Throw out lutefisk and eat vegetables.
