Aspargus

We had our first asparagus of the season last Wednesday. I am about to go pick some more. This is garden asparagus which usually is a week or more ahead of the road ditch stuff. I am going to go for a short drive and see if any of the spots I go to in the ditches have any yet.

thanks roony. I have asparagus planted in a patch so its not road ditch. my patch is 30 miles away so a general idea if its up would be good. I also have winter onions out there also.

I am in the Waseca area, so I'm a bit south Stearns county. I didn't pick very much today but it looks like there will be quite a bit to harvest tomorrow. We use to have winter onions but they died off, I miss them.
