Time to help with sideways Cell phone pictures!!

Recommended Posts

Wanted to start a post to help people with their cell phone pictures. I don't use my cell phone to take pictures but many people do and this seems to be an issue for just about everyone.

We need some of you "in the know" techy folks to offer some ideas to help others solve this issue when in the field taking pictures of that Trophy.

I see this all over even on the C-List when people are trying to sell things and my College grad daughter sends pictures and video's of the grandkids to us at an angle auuug!

(Disclaimer): don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings by re-posting their pictures but need some for examples of the issue.

The other thing I do to correct sometimes is run it back through the laptop and save it so it can be edited and rotated as I've done here. The recently updated editing package on my phone should allow me to do it there now too but previously it did not.

One thing to try is to crop all of your vertical photos. You can keep the same margins so you don't lose any of your photo, just use the crop tool in the phone and save it. Then upload it here. Should work.
