Would like to catch pannies or walleye have to walk and would like good ice-Ideas? We might go to Red but seems like a gynormous lake to be walking on. On Red do people stay in a motel on ice some of each?  Famous dude (I will not name drop) at the ice show told me about a good walk to spot on Leech but I am not sure that part of the state has enough ice yet, seems like all the ice is in NW Minnesota. Would be nice to go to a lake like Trout with no ATVs at all ( am I jealous of the ATV guys-yep) PM me if you want we keep stuff secret and I only do trips a couple of times a year so your spot would be safe---

Thanks

Hope you do well.  Early ice is special for sure.  Leech bays should be fine for walking or atv/sled travel.

Some guys are fishing Vermillion now and finding 6"+ out 1/2 mile.  Im heading up near Ely tomorrow with the Mrs and will get a little fishing in as well.
