Fur Market

Not gonna be hitting it as hard this year with the poor market. I talked to my fur buyer the other day and he said he'll only be buying really prime fur this year. I've got a few nuisance beaver that have to be dealt with but probably not gonna go after coons too hard. Still gonna try for yotes and fox though since they are so fun to catch.

I'm Seeing stakes and flags in some ponds and spoke with a trapper yesterday. He was just trapping for the enjoyment of it. Furs weren't even covering his fuel costs this year. 

I don't plan to put any fox or yote sets out this year. I will still hunt and call, but no trapping for me this season.

I heard prices for song dog fur isn't too bad.  Anyone sold any lately?

Haven't sold any yotes. Dad dropped off 4 beaver, 2 coon, a badger and a rat and said we got $48. Everything was in the round except the rat $3.

I haven't sold any coyotes at the market lately. I was doing better having them tanned and selling over on the list page.
