Big Dave2
I have to drive down to Topeka in October to attend a trade show for work. My wife and I have never been to Kansas City so we are going to go down early and spend the weekend in Kansas City before heading to Topeka for the show on a monday. Anyone have any suggestions on places to stay or things to do/see while in KC in October?I know I want to eat lots of BBQ so I heard from a friend that I should visit Joe's BBQ gas station location and am considering Arthur Bryant's and/or maybe BB's Lawnside BBQ.Any other suggestions on things to do or see? Finns
Can't go wrong with above food shops! Country Club Plaza is a good touristy stop. WW1 Museum should be on the list. Also maybe the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.Basspro and Cabela's are in the area also. Big Dave2

DonBo
The Royals should be playing playoff baseball in October. Kaufman Field is one of our favorites.
