Lowrance Down Scan

I usually run the combo, with regular and dsi overlayed.  Someday I will figure out what dsi is telling me.

Not to highjack, but when you say you have the dsi overlayed, are you meaning you overlay the downscan image over the traditional sonar? I was doing that on my last trip out and I did not like how it displayed so I am curious what palettes you used and what you think of it???

I just use the default stuff.  I picked the display out of the ones shown on the bottom, split screen with gps on one side and sonar/dsi on other side.  It is part of learning what the dsi is really showing.  I'm not sure I am catching on yet.  I'm looking forward to more practice this summer.

Gotcha! I am in the same boat. If you get a chance, try overlaying downscan on the sonar. It sure is funky looking. Maybe you will like it. :-)
