Sunset Lodge
"The Canadian walleye opener was on May 16th! We caught fish in 18 to 20 feet of water on Saturday. Since the water was flat and calm, we used 1/4 ounce jigs and also pulled spinners with a crawler. On Sunday, a cold front pushed the fish to deeper water, about 25 to 30 feet. With the rough water, we had to fish the current using 3/8 ounce jigs. The crappies still had eggs and were found at 28 to 32 feet. Fish were found in fall type spots (off island points and in currents)." Dan Schmidt verticalcrush and Rick
