Where to Bow fish in the Twin Cities area?

me and my brothers are going to be in the cities next weekend and we are thinking of going out to do some bowfishing. I have heard the st croix has good bowfishing but I have no idea what parts of the river are good for bowfishing. If you know any parts of the st croix or any other spots and wouldn't mind sharing it would be greatly appreciated.

There are lots of places you can fish in the area. There are also a lot of places you can't.

I am not sure what the regs are on the Croix. Its a border water so there are some special regulations you may need to watch out for.

In the metro area you will need to check with the local ordanaces regarding the discharge of your bow. Some look down on it, others let you fish away.
