Just wanted to give a heads up that Denali Rods is ready to release the Bottom Feeder line of rods specifically designed for Catfish/Sturgeon fishing.

I can't wait to get mine and get out on the Croix for some kitty action!

Will definatly put some abuse on them for Sturgeon next spring on the Rainy River as well.

Release date is I believe early June. These things are sick!

I'm always looking for new cat rods and I'm going to throw my two cents in here...

I was turned off as soon as the web page loaded. I do not like those stainless steel guides with no insert ring. I can show you my catfish safari rod with guides like that and I can show you the gouge that braided line has cut in the tip and second guide. Maybe these guides are made of a different alloy, but if it don't have a ring, I'm not interested.

Edit: And now I see they don't give you a picture on the web page anymore... whistle
