HDS 9 gen 2 touch and auto depth range?

Do any of you have this unit and know how to set the depth range to auto ? I am having to set the range manually. Its a pain when fishing deeper breaks.

I do not have this unit but here is what I would try. Put question into google and/or you tube and I bet you find the answer quickly. Good luck! That would be a tremendous pain.

This should get you there...If you have a splitscreen displayed, touch the sonar side and make sure the menu is showing. There is an icon in the upper right corner of the screen if its not displaying and you would just touch that spot. Once the menu is up, you should be able to see "range" in the menu list. Select "Auto".

Make sure you have it in "fresh water" (less than 400') or "shallow water" (less than 60') mode as well. This setting is under: Settings\sonar\fishing modes.
