Is that a name people call a hen of the woods or are you just referring to it as being a prime steak of a shroom?  Never heard it called a porterhouse before.

Hen of the woods, oysters, morels.  All of these are easily identifiable and not mistaken for death caps.

i dont disagree with you one bit.............but i have never been with anyone that knows there mushrooms............so i have no clue!!!!!!!!
