Sturg
Its a great time of year for wood ducks. They're such fine eye candy. The hooded mergansers are also pleasing to the eye.

Tom Sawyer
Beautiful shots Sturg! Could you post a shot of your mobile water blind?
Sturg
This is the only picture I have of the blind. I used 1x6 cedar for the frame and 3 layers of foam board for flotation. I think it is 48"x42" rectangle with a doughnut hole that I stand in with waders on. I used flex tubing to make a frame over the top. I bought a piece of camp netting and then tied the grass in bunches to the netting. I used a layer of black landscape fabric over the flex tube to darken it. The netting goes over the top. It is very easy to setup and take down in the dark. I've found it really helps to get setup at least and hour before sunrise. Then I get into position and let the ducks come to me.
