It's been too blasted windy to go anywhere these last few days. I did check out a small slough on the edge of town hoping to find some mergansers but the only thing out there was shovelers. Other than that, I've just been a back yard birder. The sun was crazy bright when I snapped this shot of my cardinal after 11:00 so he does appear pretty orange. smile Now that the pics are uploaded here, the cardinal went a bit dull.
