fishfinder72
I am currently gutting/remodeling a bathroom and have everything but the tub. I am unsure what to get. I'll be doing a tile shower surround. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Cast or Fiberglass? Brand? Thanks again!
Pat K
If it is going to be used a lot for baths I would get a soaking style tub. They are deeper than a standard tub. I think cast iron/porcelain is also more comfortable for bathing and holds the water heat longer and is more durable than fiberglass. If it is going to be used for showers 95% of the time I would install a fiberglass tub because it is easier to install and easy to maintain. Down Deep
I'd go to Fergursons Plumbing Supply. They have an extensive selection of tubs and surrounds and can point you in the right direction. Locations all over MN.
