leech~~
Have an ad in the HSOlist section. Am I in the ball park here or what? Asking $375 for hardly used Stainless? Not the best time of year to sell though.
JP Z
So is it $375 for the ammo in the bottom left or for the entire package?

BoxMN
Oh leech, he got it from Grandpa and now selling it?.... sigh... tell me it ain't so... does he need money that bad? Put it in a closet so he give it to his grandkid or kid some day. I gave my two grandsons 10/22's when they completed gun safety, and gave the 22 that my grandpa gave to me, to a granddaughter when she completed her gun safety, and the 20ga single that my Dad gave to me as first shotgun to another granddaughter. anyway.... Aside from that, it looks like a nice package that would probably get offers for $250-$300 I would guess. It is worth $300+ easy though. Pretty little gun

Pretty little gun Well if it was mine I would save it for the grandkids. But, my son kind of moved up to shooting AR's and bigger cals now, so yes he would like to get some money out of it. And yes that was not a line. His grandpa gave it to him, plus an Over under 20g, and a stainless 22 Ruger pistol. The little Rat!
leech~~
Wow, no one hunts small game any more? If you never had a Ruger 22 they are the best smoothest and fast shooting 22's out there. I did round up another 250 rounds I didn't know that I had to sweeten the deal. That's almost a 1000 rounds of ammo to go with it.
monstermoose78
I think the issue is that it is hard to get 22 ammo still. I think the the price is too high as well I can find the same rifle for about 260 bucks. Yeah add a scope and clips and ammo, but it is used. I think you are about 125 bucks to high IMO. Monstermoose, thanks for the feedback, you are about right. The gun even though like new is worth a little more then $200 used alone. But if you throw in what comes with it which would be almost $200 alone. I think the $325 asking price is about right. M1dwestF1sh
Last year I almost bought a .22 and still kickin around the idea just hard to spend that much on a .22 with ammo being such a big deal. Looks like a nice gun! It'll be hard to sell nowadays though
leech~~
Last year I almost bought a .22 and still kickin around the idea just hard to spend that much on a .22 with ammo being such a big deal. Looks like a nice gun! It'll be hard to sell nowadays though My son and I both have them but mine is not a stainless. They are fun guns. We use to go out to a gravel pit and load up the banana mags and let lead fly! They hardly ever jam and most of the time when they do it's from an under power bullet. I use to have an old Glenfield 22 which would jam just about every time out! What I really like hunting with mine is Snowshoe rabbits in the winter. You get into some low tight pines and look for the little black eye and with the bigger scopes, can't miss!

tolle141
personally I'd give the son $300 and give it to his son. Keep it in the family. Great gun

Big Dave2
If my wife would let me I'd buy it up. What area is the gun located Leech?
leech~~
Brooklyn Center, MN About 35-40mile north of you, Dave. I'll make sure it's unloaded and the ammo is in a taped shut box if you stop by!

Big Dave2
Don't worry you're safe, Del says I'm a pacifist. I'd love to own that gun but with all the doctor bills I've piled up lately theres no way my wife would go for it.

BoxMN
Leech I'd almost be up for it but the funds are spent already on some fundraisers, though I "might" (right...) win a gun on those too. Hopefully you get it sold, but if it is still around for a bit, my rainy day fund might make a recovery... though I already have a NIB 40th anniversay 10/22... heh, can never have enough! Yeah, spring is not the best time to try and sell. May have to retry in the fall if nothing else.
