MattL
I replaced the battery in my truck last night and noticed an issue with the clock/radio display today. It doesn't seem like it is an anti-theft function because all of the controls - except the clock button - work. The problem is that every minute the screen will go blank for a second when switching to the next minute. If the radio is on, it will also cut out for a second and the speakers will pop.I don't lose any engine power and the gauges on the dash are not affected when this happens. It seems to be localized to the clock/radio display.Has anyone else ran into this type of issue and how to address it? When I get home I will disconnect the battery to see if this cures the issue. Also, this is the factory radio and I am the original owner of the truck. MattL
Well the old "disconnect and reconnect the battery" routine seems to have worked and reset whatever was going on. That was weird... And a very annoying drive to work and back.
