Rob Thomes (?) Muskie fly fishing book is good. Tom Gelb's book is epic on open water muskies. Steve Heiting's book is pretty solid too.

If you want to go beyond that, find me some good material on baitfish movement through the seasons (ciscoes, golden shiners, suckers, and other small baitfish).

If you've exhausted that, I'd dig into saltwater and european pike fishing. Figure out how to adapt these techniques to muskies.

Great advice here. I think a lot of anglers are very one dimensional. Musky fishing can utilize bass, walleye, ice fishing, and saltwater techniques. Fly anglers are also a great resource for 'reading water.'
