grab the net
Water temps are finally starting to fall into a range that will turn the bass on. Found water temps in low 60's yesterday and it showed with the bite. Fished for 5 hours and boated 23. Ranged from 1-3 to 4-10. Samll lake, didn't even have to start up the Merc except to unload and load the boat. Most fish came on plastic in shallow water near coontail and wood. I mean shallow as in less than a foot in some instances. Should only get better from here to ice up. What is the lowest water temp you all have had good bites at. My partner and I have caught good fish in water temps of low 40's. 6+ fish included in that bag.
EBass
The lowest temp we caught fish (Smallies) was 38 degrees. Air temps were upper 40's.
Deitz Dittrich
I caught my biggest bass of the year last year on the day before the ice went on....
