ETH310
I have some pike in the freezer and I want to try pickling. Can I pickle them after they have been frozen or will they not taste as good as if I pickled fresh ones? Thanks.
ncesi
Actually it is recommended that you freeze them to assure there are no parasites in the fish. I freeze mine for a minimum of 4 days up to several month. Once you brine the pike it gets very firm and will work well. Good luck!!
otterman91105
Like already said they recommend that you freeze them first to kill any bacteria. Good luck lots of recipes to choose from.
