TK Tack
I've got a handful of 32" St Croix MH 32" blanks that I want to setup for Lakers and Large Walleyes. I normally use stock handles for medium medium light rods but looking for something like an 8" Tennessee handle but can't find them anywhere. I've got a half dozen Thorne bro rods that have those handles but it appears that TB makes there own. Anyone know of something comparable for a build like this? I'm open to spinning or casting, probably make some of both if I can find the right stuff. Would appreciate the advise of you vets out there! unfrozen
What material are you looking to have the 8" Tennessee handles made from?
TK Tack
Would like cork but open to options. I'm not a big fan of the Eva stuff. I think 8" is enough to get a good grip for the fight. Sensitivity isn't really a big deal, when they hit you know it. Biggest thing is a big enough handle even with gloves on. Wood might me too slippery. I don't have a lathe so I'm stuck with stuff you can buy completed.
TK Tack
I stopped up to Thorne Bros and they sold me 2 piece Tennessee handles that I can cut down to size.
