Hey guys, i just bought a used strike master auger and it did not come with any papers.

Its only a couple years old and I just have question on the best way to start it.

I know to slide the choke down and give it a couple pulls till it fires and push the choke back up.

But I'm not sure what that yellow button on the side is for, you can push in or pull it out? What do I do with that push it in or pull it out when starting?

thanks

You can push it in to relieve the compression when starting supposedly making it easier to pull over. I have 2 Strikemasters with this yellow button but never see the need to use it.

My strike master Solo has the blue decompression button, but either way. I keep breaking my recoil. I've probably drilled 75 holes with it total and I'm on recoil #3. The repair guy where I bought the parts, told me never pull start it with out using the decompression button, and I'm still having issues!!
