Mid-Lake Rock
Hi all. Hope I can get some opinions from the Ford guys or other auto gurus. My truck has 125,000 miles. The dealer that services the vehicle told me I am due for a transmission flush. The Ford dealer has been very good to me with service and pricing on those services. I asked if they drop the pan or hook it to a machine and flush. They told me hook it to a machine and that they don't drop the pan and replace filter until 150K. Any suggestions on what I should ask them to do. I am no transmission expert and I've read comments that using the machine to flush over 100,000 miles can be problematic. Again, I'm no expert and hoping some automotive gurus can chime in. Thanks!!
Lip_Ripper Guy
Have you flushed it in the first 125k.
Mid-Lake Rock
Yes. Last flush was about 60,000 miles ago.
