MuskieFever
Much like most of the ice belt, fishing has been slower. Walleyes and perch are still being caught but just not the numbers you would hope. Perch seem to be using 30-40 fow and walleyes around 17-25 fow. I haven't found any large schools yet but I also have been out much besides today. I should be out later in the week with another report. Dead sticks and downsizing are key!One exciting thing to note, a buddy of mine was lucky enough to find the ever rare devils lake crappie. Devil's crappies are very small in population but make up for it in size. The smallest of the 7 caught was a stout 13". Hopefully pics to follow.
