it is the weather this old front moves in with a high prssure system and the fishing shuts down for a day or two til it stabilizes and it picks up again, you want to watch the weather and fish on the front end of a front. and day or two before or just as the wind switches.

Wel u centainly want to be out before the cold front sets in. It can vary in the bite. Ive been on the front of the front just wen before it changes and it can be crazynfun, it can pick up from average fishing to just really goood fishing it just realy varies. Or u just might notnotice anything at all. A cold front always followsa snow. So if its for caeted for snow thursday and fri. U can bt that saturday will be touger than the previous days. The bst fishing is a contant barometer level. Low or high its the contant fluctuation in barometer that messes things up. Say a high pressure cold front moves in. Th first day or two will be tough but if it hangs on for three or more days and stabilizes. Fish will resume theirnnormal feeding patterns. Ive played the cold front game to many times, snow comes in wensday or thursday, or thurs friday and fishing has always been tough, for me anyways. My 2 cents anyways
