12- 27-2014 Jake and I going out to do some Pike/ Perch and Crappie fishing with the family today on LOTW. Jake and I went across Crow Lake yesterday with my snow machine 2 up and went to get Jake's 2 wheel drive 4 wheeler that he left out on Wicks during hunting season. Jake was able to do 55 across Crow, Pennisula Bay, no slush, plenty of snow to cool tracks. The least amount of ice I found was 8 inches. The portages are passable but rocks are showing could us more snow. I believe Jan 1st trout opener you could bring 4 wheelers forecast isnt showing snow.
