Whats everyone's keeping preference?

Recommended Posts

I'd say it really depends on the fishery. Studies I've seen say the 17-20 inchers are the ones who are the most fertile, so in theory should be the ones to let go. But my rule of thumb is I keep anything between 15-19 inches. The rest get a quick picture than go swimming. But if it's a 30" she'll end up on my wall!

Is 14-18 inches good for keeping walleye? I think so. Just wanna see what other fisherman arw keeping. I believe its good to release the big ones and the too small of ones full-46849-52080-image.jpg

That one looks like a good eater.

Fried walleye, wild rice, steamed asparagus, a roll with butter and a beer and you've got lunch
