MattL Posted November 17, 2014 Share Posted November 17, 2014 I would say the majority of the time I get them with a real fast, but short jig stroke - almost like the spoon is vibrating. Other times I have had to keep it perfectly still to get bit, or have to aggressively jig with 2-3' jig strokes.I like to use a little more than the minnow head. If you pinch it off about halfway, the minnow head will float up with the treble hook a little and give it more action versus just hanging.
