mrklean
I really wish they would give Deng more time we saw what he did the end of last season when he played 30+ min a game just give him more then 10-15 come on
ozzie
I love the way this team has looked so far!!! Honestly think they are a better team now then they were last year with Love! Fun team to watch and they play defense which is something we haven't seen from this team in years!!! GO WOLVES!!!!!

Because I highly doubt they sit Pek, while he is playing decent, with Peks long, big contract, I dont think it would be wise to make him unhappy.Pek will go down with an injury, and he will get his time. ozzie
cmon now don't jinx Pek!!! Pek is a beast and for this team to be successful we need to have Pek in the lineup...
Scott K
Having two above average centers fighting for starting minutes is a good luxury to have.
schmitty3
Can't lose games like this, Martin was taking way too many shots, and cost us another game down the stretch. I really think Wiggins is our best bet when we are in last shot situations. He seems to be able to create the best shots for himself over anyone else on the team. Hope Rubio isn't out long, but it doesn't look good.
Scott K
Quote:Kevin Garnett has made it very clear that he has no intention of coaching in the NBA when his playing days are over. That doesn’t mean the 15-time All-Star intends to walk away from the league completely. On Thursday, Garnett told Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports that his goal is to one day own the Minnesota Timberwolves.“I want to buy the Timberwolves,” he said. “Put a group together and perhaps some day try to buy the team. That’s what I want.”Garnett has made $315 million during his career, which is more than any other player in NBA history. That includes guys named Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. He will make another $12 million with the Brooklyn Nets this year.As Spears notes, Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor said earlier this year that he is searching for a minority partner who would hold an option to buy him out. Garnett, who played for current T-Wolves president and coach Flip Saunders, still feels close ties to the organization that gave him his start in the NBA.“That is the one that has my interest,” he said. “I have ties there. Flip’s there.”Forbes Magazine estimated back in January that the Timberwolves are worth $430 million. Garnett does not intend to retire after the season, so he will be able to stockpile some more money before beginning that phase of his life.Between the money Garnett has made on the court and through endorsements, there’s no reason to believe he couldn’t put together a group to buy a stake in a team that is worth less than most NBA franchises. ozzie
I heard Flip talking about this when he was asked what he thinks KG would do after playing days and Flip made the same comments!! I would for one welcome it as with his competitive drive I think he would be a wonderful owner!!

JBMasterAngler
Wow do I wish I was in vegas for that game against the sixers! I would've bet the house on the sixers getting that win!
Sandmannd
That game was horrible!! I don't know how they expect to fill the seats with a product like that on the court.
Scott K
Gunning for the best odds in the lottery pick. This franchise is a mess. The team needs a veteran to be on the floor, they cant run with all rookies. It doesnt help at all that Martin, Rubio, and Pek are out. While it is good to have the rookies get more minutes, it isnt good for them to get beat all the time either. Confidence plays a big role, and when you lose to teams like the 76ers, it can drop your confidence to oblivion.
Storm
While that game was one of the worst basketball games I've watched, you have to remember that three of our starting five are hurt. When all healthy we do have an exciting and fun team to watch on the court even if the wins aren't coming with it this year. Even though we lost to arguably one of the worst teams in nba history, we have great pieces to a team that can really do something in a few years. These young guys will learn much more from an ugly loss like that too then if we played half way decent and won by ten.
dfv87
Young guys will benefit from PT but they need to know which direction they are going to start a game... sad display to go the wrong way to start and have both teams not notice... LMITOUT
One of the many reasons why the NBA is a joke:https://vine.co/v/O6gV7hJvirX
Bryce
Attempting 16 freethrows is poor coaching. Only hitting 8 even worse coaching. Flips "coaching search" sets this franchise back another decade.
ozzie
tough to say that when you look at the team they are fielding. Very young and why win when they have been competitive in the games but they are going to get a top 5 pick in another good draft class!!! This is perfect for the wolves to have Ricky next year with wiggins lavine, bazz, and dieng getting extended playing time this year along with a high draft pick I look forward to next few years...but I look forward to all Wolves seasons!! I certainly don't think Flip is the problem with this team though
Scott K
The Wolves have potential, now they need to turn that potential into wins next year. I agree, the more they loose, the better the draft pick. If this team can develope together, we could be good for many years. But then I remember, this is Mn. If any of the players to develope, they will want to leave.
Sandmannd
I'm with you Scott. They have some very good young talent that is coming through in these games. It scares me that they will get really good with all this experience then want to leave. Hopefully that doesn't happen. If we can keep them in tact we may just have a strong team in about two years. rundrave
Bucks just waived Nate Wolters, and the Timberwolves could use some PG depth. Make it happen Flip!He played well as a rookie last year, not sure why Jason Kidd never gave him a fair look this year.
Sandmannd
Couldn't do any worse than Mo Williams. I cringe as bad when he touches the ball as I did when JJ had it last year. 13 losses in a row, couldn't hurt to try anything at this point. rundrave
I see they have 15 on the roster already after signing Miroslav so I dont see them cutting anyone or eating any guaranteed money to create an opening.
