forcedtowork
Our 05 Grand Prix started making a water sloshing noise by the glove box when you make a turn, stop, etc, any thoughts on what it could be or what I should check/look for? Eric Wettschreck
Check your coolant level.
Jeremy airjer W
As the coolant level drops the heater core is the first to "go dry." checking the coolant level is a good start. If its full check to see if the EVAP drain is plugged. You will see a rubber 90 elbow sticking out of the firewall on the passenger side near the bottom. This is the drain that allow condensation from the EVAP core to exit the vehicle. If it is plugged a lot of water will be trapped and cause the same symptom you have described. forcedtowork
I checked the reservoir and it was empty with a brown sludge in it, refilled the reservoir also checked the radiator, the radiator was full and also has a brown sludge in it. Couldn't locate the Evap drain. I took it for a test drive, still makes the noise. We haven't noticed any coolant or puddles in the garage nor is there evidence of any. What could possibly be the cause? It has 93k on it.
Macgyver55
Did you bleed the system to make sure there is no air in it?
