Hybrid Towing

Wondering anyone has pulled a hybrid before. We are contemplating either that style or a basic pop up. I know when we had our old pop up it didn't affect the milage much. Would the hybrid be just as bad as a full size travel trailer since it still has the big front? Looking at something around 3000 lbs..

Thanks!

I have a 19' hybrid and our friends have a 16' hybrid. They are exactly like pulling a fullsize trailer.

The weight of the trailer really only comes into play when starting and stopping. If you're concerned about mileage and roadhandling, it will be just like a full size travel trailer due to the larger profile.

If it was my choice, I would still have a hybrid. I love the versatility of having a smaller TT that sleeps like a larger trailer. In nice weather you fold the beds down. In cold weather, you leave the beds up, sleep on the couch or dinette and fire up the furnace. Full bath and full kitchen.
