sportfish
Anyone got a good idea for keeping your propane tanks warn on the out side of your wheel house ?I thought about cutting a vent hole to blow air on them from inside the house and put blankets or make a insulated box . Put a little fan at night on just when it gets -20 or more .Will it work ? Or is there better options
cold one sd
If you run a generator you can buy a 110v heated blanket to wrap around the tank. I have also seen 110v pads to put under tanks to keep them warm.I have used both at work.
38bill
You do not want an opening from the house to the tanks or you risk an explosion. That's why they are outside the house already. An insulated box with a light bulb for heat could work.
