bucketmouth64
Wondering if any of you use suspend strips or dots on your crankbaits? How much do you put on? Where do you put them on? Do they change the action of the lure?
Sliderfishn
I use the strips on my suspending jerk baits to make them ride in the water nose down.
friendlyfisher
I am glad you brought this up bucketmouth.I have been wondering the same thing. I am also wondering if any of you guys us something called sticky weight. Its a weight that sticks to your hook to give a weightless worm more weight, or to use instead of a bullet weight. (pg 217 bass pro anglers catalog). Have any of you used it and what do you use it for.
Deitz Dittrich
I use golf club weight.. its pretty much the same thing as the suspend strips but a lot cheaper.. Go to a golf shop and pick up a roll.. the only disavantage is that you have to cut it to the size you want...A properly weighted crankbait to get to the depth you NEED to achieve the right depth is very important!!!!!!!!!!!! Dan Wood
Never tried that sticky paste stuff, so I can't help you there. I do use the tape on occassion though and it works well for cranks and plastics when just a little extra weight is needed.
