Dan- I had Swindle on my list for the first few tournaments and pulled him to add Denny Brauer... He does pretty well on his home watters in MO..Looks like it could be a tough day on the water for the BOYZ... but at least thier water isnt hard~

2. Mark Davis 5 18-10
3. Chad Brauer5 16-06
4. John Murray 5 15-09
5. Roland Martin 5 15-03

Only 10 limits were brought in total and only the top 20 had more than 10lbs which means there can be a lot of movement tommorrow for anglers who had a tough day today.

I was paying close attention on this one and it sounds like most of the fisherman who caught them good were a little surprized that they did as well as they did. Apparently no one found much to inspire any confidence in practice.

John Murray who had a lousy practice but is in fourth said this after practice day 2:
"It's just tough. I know some fish are in the lake, but I can't figure out to catch them. Sometimes you're just not on it, and sometimes those are your best tournaments and other times they're your worst."

and this what he said after the last day of practice:
"I had a legendary day – I caught two. I was happy. I just wanted to catch fish. I had two keepers and four shorts – a little more action, at least.

All I'm doing tomorrow is what I caught them on today. I just can't catch them any other way. I'm going for two fish. That's my goal tomorrow, two keepers. Some of the western lakes I've fished have been like this.

Actually I'm fishing one fish. One fish means a lot right now, to get the points. After that I'm just going for it. But one fish in the box will be a major deal for me."

It looks like Murray will probably make the cut if he can just put 3 more fish in the boat.

I can't believe Stacy King skunked. AGGGGGH!

My anglers better move up today and at least get me some points. To this point day 2 has been very good to me and it looks like one good day could move anyone way up. I also have an ace in the hole in Mark Davis who would be my odds on to win it after the first day. Davis is one of the best when he gets on em.

The BP boys rally on day 2 yet again. I am so glad they don't cut after day 1 or I would be screwed. So far on Day 2 I have gained 253 points over my day 1 score and would be in 42nd place in the league instead of positioned well at 21st.

Way to go Stacy King. The sad part is that this is my second big bag on day 2 with an angler who fails to make the cut.

But enough about me
Here are the anglers who made the top 12 cut
1. Paul Elias -- Pachuta, Miss. -- 10, 37-08
Day 1: 5, 20-05 -- Day 2: 5, 17-03
2. Mark Davis -- Mount Ida, Ark. -- 10, 33-03
Day 1: 5, 18-10 -- Day 2: 5, 14-09
2. Roland Martin -- Naples, Fla. -- 10, 33-03
Day 1: 5, 15-03 -- Day 2: 5, 18-00
4. Takahiro Omori -- Emory, Texas -- 10, 30-05
Day 1: 5, 13-12 -- Day 2: 5, 16-09
5. John Murray -- Phoenix, Ariz. -- 10, 28-10
Day 1: 5, 15-09 -- Day 2: 5, 13-01
6. Todd Auten -- Lake Wylie, S.C. -- 7, 27-11
Day 1: 3, 12-02 -- Day 2: 4, 15-09
7. Gerald Swindle -- Hayden, Ala. -- 9, 27-02
Day 1: 4, 11-10 -- Day 2: 5, 15-08
8. Tom Burns -- Carbondale, Ill. -- 10, 26-05
Day 1: 5, 14-05 -- Day 2: 5, 12-00
9. Chad Morgenthaler -- Coulterville, Ill. -- 7, 25-05
Day 1: 3, 8-11 -- Day 2: 4, 16-10
10. George Cochran -- Hot Springs, Ark. -- 10, 23-12
Day 1: 5, 10-09 -- Day 2: 5, 13-03
11. Chad Brauer -- Osage Beach, Mo. -- 7, 23-09
Day 1: 5, 16-06 -- Day 2: 2, 7-03
12. Jack Wade -- Knoxville, Tenn. -- 7, 23-07
Day 1: 5, 14-01 -- Day 2: 2, 9-06

And here is the FM.com League Top 10 after day 2.

1. Schmenzig Bassmen 413
2. Ramsey Basser 361
3. Elk River Elks 280
4. MN Local 271
5. Catch N Hogs 262
6. MN BPboys 261
7. Flippen 11 259
8. MN Birdog 253
8. BP's Mommy 253
10. Fishin Bemidji 247

I think if Chad Brauer moves up to the top 6 and Mark Davis wins then Schmenzig has a real shot at being in the prizes. All his anglers are in the top 25 and all but one is in the top 20; he was 50th best score today out of all players. It's a scary thought but his score could convievably increase another 120 or more points before the end of the tournament if things go just right (of course he could lose points too). Good job Bro.

On Swindle I don't think so here are his comments after today's move up to 3rd.

"I don't know," Swindle said when asked if he could win. "I could zero. Good Lord, I could zero. I'm still literally fishing by the seat of my pants. I'm just running around. I had 6 bites today and caught 5, yesterday was the same, and the day before that I had 7-8 bites and caught 4. So the bites have been pretty slim for me. It could change, I don't know."

After Table Rock our Top 11 are all in the Top 10% of all Fantasy BASS players. Our Top 23 and all Posse members are in the Top 20% of all players. Our Top 35 are all in the Top 50% of all players. And Schmenzig's Bassmen shows what one big week does for a person or how bout Bass Master.

We are 36% of the way through the season but there are only two more tournies with the large fields that will depress scores; Once it moves to the E50's only 50 anglers will be in a field which will make average scores go up. The next two tournies are key to run up your scores to position yourself for the end of the year.

The next tourny at Eufaula is not for another two weeks. I think our league is just warming up.
