Guest
I live on a lake, near Park Rapids, that has lots of smallmouth bass. The lake is basically bowl shaped, lots of football to boulder size rocks, and the max. depth of the lake is approx. 30 feet. What lures will work in summer and fall? Can't seem to trigger them. How about live bait? Small lures? No real rocky points on the lake. Some weedline structure.Any help on what to try would be greatly appreciated!------------------Brian Goldammer
EBass
A lot of methods work at one time or another. Topwater poppers, jig n grub, tubes, crank baits, spinner baits, even texas rigged worms. Sometimes they won't hit anything and other times they go nuts for whatever. That's fishing for ya. For live bait. They can't resist a leech in the summer. In colder water use big shinners and chubs. Hope that helps. Let us know how you did.
