When u penetrate thick vegetation with jigs don't weeds get tangled up with it? How do u avoid getting weeds tangled up say if u were going through thick milfoil? Also when carolina rigging how long do u have the line after the swivel to the bait? Whats your preference? Thanks

For the jig fishing, sure weeds are going to hang to the jig but when you feel that you just give a quick hard snap with your rod and they will come free. Bullet shaped jigs will go through weeds the best.

Carolina rigging you can very your leader length. If fish are relating more to the bottom I like a shorted leader 2 ft or so. If the fish are a little off the bottom or are suspended in weeds any where from 3-4 foot.

You are right about the carolina rigs but that also depends on the mood of the bass. Remember that the shorter the leader gives your worm more jig when you move the rod, longer leader gives less action.
