ranger2bass
Hi im fishing Maple Lake for the first time in about 12 years in an upcoming tournament and was wondering if any of you have been there? What my best plan. Inside, outside weededge? docks? spinnerbait or jigs. I have mostly crankbaits and tubes in my arsenal. Any suggestions. Aquaman01
A tourney on Maple - huh. Not a big body of water. I hit the north east end by the small launch earlier this year for crappie/bluegill and had a real nice shake-off from a good largemouth. Felt like 4-5 lbs. Cattails. That's where we were. Can't give ya the exact hole - it's my son's. Good luck, and welcome to the forums! ------------------Aquaman<')}}}}}><{Peace and Fishes
basguy31
Try the southern shore starting across from the large point and work your way southwest. We have caught some lunkers on the weedling there on crankbaits and Texas rigged tubes. And don't forget about the docks on that stretch also, they ussually hold some fish.Good Luck[This message has been edited by basguy31 (edited 06-05-2003).]
