Lowrance X110C

Hillbiehle

Question

A freind of mine just upgraded electronics and I offered to buy his old Lowrance X110c (with GPS puck I think). He asked me how much....what do I offer? I have no idea what they are worth and I want to be fair. I found one on an auction sight but the reserve is not listed. Thoughts?

I just sold mine yesterday for $500. They are still worth all of that and probably more. There is one on the "the bay" right now for $795 as a complete package. Guess it's up to you what you want to offer. I ran that one for about 6 years with not one issue and it was still in very nice condition.

I feel bad offering so little. I would have thought that it would've depreciated more than that with some of the new models and down imaging etc that have come down so drastically in price. I would of thought $250-$300 max...not $750 on the "bay". WOW.

When looking on "the bay" only look at completed auctions to see what actual transactions were. Any fool can put something up at a ridiculous "buy it now" price. The question is what people paid.

When I search, no completed listings but several with bids. But the big screen makes it worth quite a bit, apparently.

Dont use the bay as a place to determine prices. Older units are a dime a dozen. No way I would pay $600 for that unit today. I have seen much newer units for sale at swap meets and auctions for around $300
