You're just getting them now? They've been here Since March 21. I just can't figure out what they're after. They're constantly picking thru the brown grass and the concrete patio. I know the bugs aren't out yet. I don't have any seed on the ground.

You want a few Grackles? They invaded my yard on March 27. I actually had a Crossbill in my yard a few days ago. I didn't realize what it was until I took a photo and saw it on my PC. That's only the 2nd one I've ever seen here.

the juncos have been around but tons today. grackles also. grrrr. quite a few rwb's also. just had 3 different woodpecks in the yard. downy, sapsucker and hairy. have not see the red bellies for a couple days.
