last spring I upgraded a bunch of reels with HP bearings , I have used both Shimano oil and qauntum hotsauce oil for OEM bearings , and silicon Ptfe for gears , seems with boca bearings they are a tad loud but definatly less casting effort than oem ,, have most been using to lube there reels? and any modifications

You actually don't need to lube the Boca ceramic bearings, but, if you don't they will be noisy....A drop of oil is all that's needed tho...Good idea to soak and blow out your bearings yearly as they do pick up debris.
