wheel house battery chargers

Great idea, I have a Minnkota 2 bank charger on mine and it works great, have one battery hooked to my furnace and the other to my lights and power outlets. I tried running 1 battery but when I would turn the lights on when the furnace was running I could here the furnace lose power so went with 2. I only have to run the generator a couple hours out of the day to charge batteries (and to get a little caffeine in the blood), no running it all night long. Hope this helps.

I have 2 batterys and a dual charger. I have clips on the power wires and i just switch to the other battery when the first battery dies. I don't need power to run my furnace so my batterys will last a long time. I almost always have my Honda gen along.

I have one in the house, a 2 bank as I run 2 batteries as I need power for the blower on the furnace also.

I do run my generator also and the batteries charge up just fine with the onboard charger, never any issues.

For batteries, I run 2 group 27 deep cycle marine batteries and they do a great job with this charger.

I also have a inverter in the house so I can use the 110 items like TV or coffee pot without running the generator for these.
