Snowmobile for ice fishing. Enough power?

So I'm looking at a 1996 skidoo touring e xt. It's electric start, reverse, new battery. 2up with a 380 fan cooled rotax motor. I'm just looking to use this for ice fishing. This will also be my first sled.

I'm not looking to go 30 miles into Canadian wilderness. More for pulling my gear out. Maybe a few miles on Mille lacs. Is the 380 going to be enough power? Anything else I'm not thinking about? I have looked back through the snowmobiling threads as well. Last question, 4700 kil on it,$1000 a fair price?

I bought a 91' arctic cat jag 440 right after christmas & it pulls my clam & a my friends 2 person otter with him on just fine...I only paid $500 for it but wish it had reverse & electric start. IMO...for $1000 & to have those 2 features & it if it runs good & 2up you can't go wrong. A good sled for under $1000 with those features is hard to find.

Enough power for everything but slush/pulling a sled. Anything below 500 cc fan or 440 cc liquid will struggle pulling a sled through deeper slush. However if you encounter bad enough slush it will stop just about anything. Otherwise good purchase.

Good Luck
