Help Me Find A Bracket For My Rear Seat On My V-Star

So I lost the rear seat last year, along with the bracket. The part I need is a T bracket that holds the rear seat down, the seat slips onto the bracket and the T keeps it from coming off. I checked at MotoPrimo in Lakeville, and they want $50 for a piece of metal. I'm trying to find it on hsolist or other internet sites, but it's a vague enough piece that I'm having trouble. Any advice or help in tracking the piece I need down would be appreciated!

You could buy the stock part, trace and measure it, then fabricate your own and then return the new stock part as long as you don't damage it or loose the packaging and the receipt within a reasonable time. Remember to ask about the stores return policy before hand.
