Here's a short snippet of an absolute MONSTER we pulled through the ice on Superior. This behemoth came out of over 250 feet of water. A longer video with plenty of BIG fish is to come in the next few days!

250 feet, thats a heck of a long way down! Nice fish, proof a 10" hole is nice, an 8" is all you need.

I have made this mistake many times and have tried my best to get better. If you are promoting "professional fishing" videos than its on you to show professional handeling. Agreed, it was tough to think about that when the adrenaline is pumping! I will deffintly be more conscious in the future! Also, the fish DID go back! Broke college student can't afford a $600 mount!

Like I said , got some fish pictures that are tough to look at because I was doing the same thing. If release and hopeful recatch is the game we all have to be a bit more cognizant of how we hold these trophies. It's a great fish and a nice video. Good luck going forward.

Nice fish! You had a lot more confidence bringing that fish through the hole than I would have! I would've been shoulder deep pulling that fish up I had the video on mute, was there an official length/weight?
