Because of all the talk about GPS lately, I purchased one of these Garmin gpsmap 62s units but didn't get an operators manual with it, shouldn't there have been one included? I did get several quick start guides in various languages, problem is I can only read and speak English.. I looked online but I don't have a working printer to print the manual I found on their HSOforum...any idea where I can get a manual?

It seems like companies like to cut costs by not providing them anymore, usually just have you goto their HSOforum to download if needed.

I called garmin you put the cursor over your spot then press enter menu then enter again it works.

Thanks all for your help, I need to drop the bucks on a printer. I contacted Garmin and this is what they said:

"Garmin no longer produces pre-printed manuals for devices. You may download and print the manual for your GPSMap 62s at the link below."

That's how it is done. The first time you connect the GPS to your PC and install the WebUpdater it will give you a link to download the manual. The Updater will then check to see if there is an updated firmware available for your GPS. They don't always come with the most up-to-date version. That's how it worked three weeks ago when I got my new GPSMap 78S.
