The Randy Howeller Dream Master Classic crankbait in Guntersville Craw for the low price of 15.99 you can own the winning bait.

It is the KVD Black Back Chartreuse 1.5 and 2.5 all over again.

I really like how the incorporated his name Howell in the bait, a different spelling of Howler.

I'll Pass

Impossible that he used a non sponsor lure, you mean fisherman lie?!

I watched the weigh in live via the interwebs and I will give Randy props for saying he caught a bunch of fish on the Demon DT6.

The other funny thing is Jerry Rago has released the Randy Howell 999 Line thru swikbait and marketing it as a lure that help him win the classic. It is a good looking bait and I order a few since I am a swimbait junkie and the Bluegill Pattern looks good.

I give him props as well. Anyone who pays attention during any tournament like the elite series will notice guys using different baits, rods, etc. When it comes down to it they throw what works not who's plastered all over their boats and jerseys. I chuckled when I seen GoPro was sponsoring the classic. I knew right there that guys were going to get caught using other baits.

So RRR your the guy who grabbed all the bluegill colored 999 on TW?? They do look like good baits and I'm thinking of adding one to my collection as well when they come back in stock. Rago did design the crankbait that Randy was throwing toward the end, but we all know he didn't catch his fish on the 999 swimbait.

Man, I thought I lived and breathed bass fishing. The amount of knowledge in this bass forum constantly amazes me.

Until you spend 6 hours total watching a weigh in on the internets and following the tournament via basstrak and The War Room for 3 days you got aome catching up to do John.

But it has a magical electronic chip in it...so it has to be super special, right?

I sometimes wish someone would win a big tournament on a Lazy Ike or something just to see what would happen. Would you see a Lucky Craft or Megabass Lazy Ike before long?

LOL probably!

Wasn't that long ago that hollow frogs were limited to old school Scum Frogs and Snag Proofs. Then when braided line became big, guys started winning tournaments with them, and now there are 500 different kinds with every bell and whistle imaginable, and they went from a $3 bait to a $10 bait almost overnight.

If they put a Hydrowave in it can you imagine what would happen.........

Try cranking Hydrowave and throwing a Livingston, the fish fish will just float to the surface like DNR electroshocking. You can just pick up your limit then.
