hi all, well with this snow i don't think i'll be going much more unless i can find plowed roads. too bad lot of ice left but main goal is not getting stuck. i sure laugh when people say oh you got 4x4 you'll make it it hee hee. any one else in the same vote i wont give up yet but walking in a foot and a half of snow doesn't sound good.

Its been kind of a tradition for me this whole month. At lest one time a trip, I'll bury my 4x4. That's in 4x4 low and tire chains on the rear. Now I'm not even sure I can make it anywhere off a road. I will make it work this last weekend, then I don't care. I'm just going to stick to close-to-access spots for pan fish in march, and just walk out.

It just gives ya a better workout walking to your spots smile...It takes a lot to keep me off the ice...Its killing me right now not looking at the Marcum cry ...I'm trying to get over this dam cold...Normally I don't care and go out anyway, but I don't want to be sick for LOW next weekend grin

Please what ever you do DON"T drill holes in the plowed roads. I spent 2 hours plowing a road to my house, broke the plow and went to fix it, when I came back someone drilled 5 or 6 holes in the road. Now I got to bust a new trail around. What the he## do people think. mad

I found the snow to be a problem many times when I wanted to fish. I solved the problem with a new Polaris Indy Voyaguer 600 snowmobile. So far, I have been everywhere I wanted to go including busting through the snow and drifts yesterday to bring some friends out from their snowed in cabin when their furnace quit.

Today, I braved the windy conditions to got out about 3 miles on a lake to fish some crappies. Out and back no problem. Even found a few fish. smile
