there was an ad banner that was on this site for stihl ice augers it said contact your dealer has anyone seen or used one

I saw a banner ad for Stihl augers. They were earth augers though, not ice augers. I don't think Stihl makes ice auger bits. You may be able to use a different brand of ice bit on a Stihl power head. The shaft size would need to match and the direction of rotation would need to be correct.

You have to buy the earth auger, and they sell the ice bit.

I googled them and it appears that Stihl does have some ice bits, or used to. Next time I am at my Stihl dealer, I will talk to them about it. The chatter on the topic suggests that they are slow and expensive when compared to the popular brands.

These are mostly only available to our brothers north of the border, and bring in a premium price....like 800 bucks.

I've used one and they are nice but nothing I am about trade for my Nils .
