What is a good water proof coating spray for ice suits?

I have an Artic Armor Ice Suit (the Gray Suit). I heard that if you washed ice suits, it loses the water proof coating and will need to have a new coating reapplied?

Well, if that is true, what is a good water proof coating to spray on it and where can I find it at?

Thanks in advance.

I have the Black Frabill suit for 2 years now. I've washed it a couple of time and was told to use COLD water and DO NOT, repeat DO NOT put in the dryer. (I’m sure the "air" setting with NO HEAT would be OK - but i have always hung them to dry out). I know there are waterproof liquids you can add to wash cycle...but do not have firsthand experience.

I've never sprayed or done anything to Bibs or jacket - still water proof and holding strong. -- suit sees use 2-4 times a week win the winter.

Are you sure you don't have Ice Armor, rather than Arctic Armor? They make the gray suit.

Anyway, I have Arctic Armor and use Nikwax products in the washer. It's a 2 step wash, put it in the washer with the detergent first and then the waterproofing second. After it dries I also spray it with revivex, and I spray the bibs from the knee down heavily. It works well for me as far as cleaning the suit and restoring the waterproof.

The dryer with heat will ruin Arctic Armor suits. I'm not sure about other brands, but just be sure follow the care instructions.
